This program was inspired by a Tik-Tok trend and was one of hybrid programs this summer.

I made an instructional video alongside written instructions for the take-home version of this program.

For the in-person program, I painted the canvases ahead of time so they'd be dry and ready to be embroidered on top of. For the take-home kits, I included a pot of black paint and paintbrush so they could have more freedom over their painting.

Supplies:

-Canvas

-Black & white embroidery floss

-Sewing needle

-Paint & Brush

Amount of Kits: 20 (including 3 in-person participants)

Sign ups: 20

Cost: ~$4 per kit. The largest expense were the canvases. We got ours on Amazon, but I believe you could get a better deal on a bulk canvas pack during sales at Joanns.

Success: This one was fun, though less popular than it's canvas cousin DIY Neon Signs
